Paper Planes

Short Film (2014)

Paper Planes tells the story of Moon, a lonely young man who is unlucky with love. After being stood up on a date he draws a cartoon woman called January for company.

The two talk and bond over a night together and Moon believes he's fallen in love.

The short was directed and written by Matt Deary as part of his Film course at Ravensbourne University.

 


The short had two cuts made, one five minute film for University purposes and another longer version that was entered into film festivals in 2015.
